Sherman Newsletters
Sherman Elementary, named for General William Tecumseh Sherman, is located at 5618 N 14th Avenue. The current Sherman building was built in 1927 and was remodeled in 2004.
As a school with an academy program, Sherman boasts small class sizes of approximately 16-20 students in primary classes and 18-20 students in the intermediate classes. Currently, Sherman Elementary is home to approximately 200 students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Fifty (50) staff members work together to meet the needs of the students at Sherman Elementary.
